For anyone making their way over to Nomad, Manhattan, staying at The Evelyn, make sure you are one of the first to see what’s new and happening a short walk away at The Empire State Building.

At the end of last month, a new visitor observatory and museum was opened there.  spanning 10,000 square feet on the 2nd floor of the building, holidaymakers and local can enjoy the modern-day intervention exhibition while learning about its fascinating history and ending up at the top of the 86th floor observatory.

standing 1,454 feet high, today’s building (erected in 1931 and designed by Shreve, Lamb and Harmon) houses the offices of Architectural Record.  Today’s latest space was designed by Beneville Studios, Corgan, IDEO and others.
